When patching stops being worth it, we strip the old covering back to the rafters and start again. New breathable membrane, new battens, your choice of tiles or slate, and the ridge, verges and leadwork finished properly so the whole roof works together.

Flat roofs
Flat roofs fail at the edges and upstands first. We replace tired coverings from the deck up, with new boards where the old ones have gone soft, and take the same care over trims, upstands and outlets as over the main area.

Leadwork
Leadwork is where most leaks start, around chimneys, in valleys and where a roof meets a wall. We cut out tired or patched lead and dress new lead by hand, so it sheds water the way it should for years.

Chimneys
A chimney takes the full force of the weather. We repoint, re-render and re-flash stacks, rebuild where the brickwork has gone, and take chimneys down below the roofline when they are no longer needed.

Velux windows
More light without moving house. We fit new and replacement Velux roof windows with the correct flashing kits, then finish the reveals inside, so the job is complete when we leave.

Fascias, soffits & guttering
Rotten timber at the eaves lets water into the roof and the walls. We replace fascias, soffits and guttering in uPVC, clear and repair existing gutters, and make sure everything falls to the outlets.
